Industrial and Electromechanical Assemblies

The outstanding characteristic of these projects are the obstacles of various natures: tight deadlines, working in urban areas or in hardly accessed places, and adverse weather conditions.

For us, the biggest challenge in this sector was the implementation of 197 kilometers of gas pipelines in the middle of the Amazon Forest, connecting the gas reservoirs of Urucu to Manaus, which required thousands of workers and a great deal of equipment, and the development of innovative solutions in terms of construction technologies and logistics.

Urucu-Manaus Gas Pipeline | AM

Laying a gas pipeline in the middle of the Amazon Forest, with 197 kilometers of 20-inch pipelines and another 78 kilometers of three- and four-inch connections, to allow commercial exploitation of the Urucu gas reservoirs. Laying the pipelines in certain areas was only possible with the support of heavy helicopters and barges. We use directional drilling technology to make the holes, the largest of which is 1,825 meters deep under the Solimões River.

Plangás | RJ

This consisted of doing the work described in the Advance Gas Production Plan, including a detailed engineering design, building and assembling 8-, 10-, 12- and 16-inch pipelines, with equipment and materials provided; building underground pipework for interconnection of Ilha Redonda, located in the Guanabara Bay, and REDUC, converting GASDUC I gas pipeline into OSDUC IV oil pipeline, tie-ins and removing an OSDUC II decommissioned pipe section, assembling the scraper and interconnecting the remaining GASDUC I section at ECOMP in Campos Elíseos and recommissioning the block valve located at kilometer 154.40 of the Cabiúnas Ethanol Pipeline – REDUC (OSDUC II), located in Magé and Duque de Caxias.

Replan-Brasília Multiproduct Pipeline | MG

Laying a 200-kilometer stretch of 20-inch pipelines making up the multiproduct pipeline that connects the Planalto Paulista Refinery, in São Paulo, to the Federal capital. The biggest technical challenge was crossing the Rio Grande river, on the border between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais.

Pipeline Recommissioning | RJ, ES, SP and MG

Recovering Transpetro's oil products and ethanol pipeline in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, São Paulo and Minas Gerais, involving thousands of kilometers of pipelines. The work required compliance with strict safety, environmental protection and health standards.

Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant - FAFEN | SE

Construction of an ammonium sulfate plant at FAFEN, a Petrobras unit that has been operating since the 1980s. A 5,200-m² concrete shed was built on 500 tons of metal structures and 90 tons of carbon steel and stainless steel piping. A main substation was set up, with all electrical, instrumentation and automation interconnections, and four tanks, also made of carbon and stainless steel, for storing raw materials.
