LAST STAGES OF PORT OF RIO EXPANSION

Carioca Engenharia is in the final adjustments of the Port of Rio de Janeiro expansion. The paving stage is currently underway. It marks the final phase of the project that will expand the pier area by almost 6,000 square meters. Completion is scheduled for July 3^rd.

Using the exclusive Ramlift equipment, the company managed to drive 160 piles in record time. Besides, it used its innovative concreting onsite slabbing method — the mobile table — a proprietary technology that won the InovaInfra Award. These innovations optimize container handling operations and the flow of large vessels at the port.
